"Went with worsening COVID symptoms. They swabbed my nose and told us to wait. We waiting 2 and a half hours watching these people lounge around and do almost nothing to help anyone. I've seen faster slothes. A nurse finally called me back and said the test was inconclusive, probably because they didn't get a proper sample. They could do the test again and I wait again but they wouldn't do anything for me regardless. She said my vital signs looked good (they were not) and that my chest xrays looked good (they never took chest xrays). She was clearly making false statements. They just wanted us out of there. Dispicable care and wasted valuable time."
"I came in for some serious GI issues and these guys did a great job figuring out what was wrong with me. It wasn't until the 3rd visit that I got a diagnosis but I wouldn't blame the personnel since it's an uncommon condition. This hospital really should have more than 2.4 stars for their reviews."
"My mother just checked out of Hillcrest hospital in Simpsonville. I cannot say enough good things about her stay. She was very sick with RSV, Pneumonia, and pan sinusitis upon entering. She learned that she had a mild stroke and could not walk or swallow from weakness. She saw many different nurses and doctors over the course of her 9-10 day stay and they treated her with so much love and care. She had nurses checking on her when they were not even on her floor. They spoke with her with such respect, and were so tender and gentle during difficult procedures. She said to me that she hasn't been lonely at all because the hard working nurses kept her company. She noted that they explained every single thing to her every step of the way. I cannot thank all of you enough for the wonderful treatment that she received! I would recommend Hillcrest Hospital to anyone!"
"Had severe pain, high heart rate for weeks, and several other serious symptoms. I cannot express how devastating it is to waist so many hours (on my kid’s birthday, I was that concerned for my health) for the staff to change their opinion on the tests they run on you, force meds on you, and then all but kick you out because they are too incompetent to figure out the problem, most likely just lazy on their part. The rude behavior by staff and the doctor was an extreme I’ve never experienced. She told me I’m fine and to heavily dose over the counter meds (multiple types at the same time) as long as it takes to feel better. REALLY???? You’re the hospital, you have proof of an issue, and the response is ‘I don’t feel like it so get out’? Literally GET OUT. Find some bed side manners, this place needs a lawsuit. M and to figure out what field and place they work in."
"I’m only reviewing because the ER physician that treated my dad was an absolute angel. Kevin Gregg, MD is still practicing with ethics and genuine care for patients. Not only was he knowledgeable, he went above and beyond to help and put us on the right track in dealing with the healthcare maze. Angels exist."
