"Took my stuff to platos this morning they offered 18.98 on a pair of boots. I decided too keep them for that,clothes mentor offered 11$ ...the past 2 months I've been taking tubs full ,and platos has ALWAYS given me significantly more than clothes mentor...so for the people asking who pays more, platos does, but they don't take much designer stuff, clothes mentor does..platos is always done within an hour, clothes mentor takes at least 3 hours. AND thes called manager said " 500$ for this?" With a smart ellic tone to a co worker. While i was waiting, 5 feet away On one of my dresses.. un professional and they would rather talk amongst themselves than do thier job..stopping in the middle of comleteing a transaction, to talk about social topics...I won't be back to say the least"

"Updated review as of 11/23 - this is only for the *Spartanburg location * as a plus size shopper they have gone waaaaaay downhill. I do not think it’s bc they do not have many coming in to sell. Every time I go in they have tones of totes and they refuse them. They said they are “liscense shoppers” this location they are teens who haven’t even finished hs possibly making these decisions and have never had a plus size body or know what’s the most important thing for a plus size consumer. They have teenage plus size brands like Mostly like hm. A few stained up holes in torrid and layne Bryant and shein. - which is funny to me since they have the same memorized verbatim script when not accepting the clothes. Claiming no holes , stains etc etc. yet going thru all of the racks this is what you see. I’ve tried on a few things and brought to their attention next day it’s back out. Also someone needs to do Something about the racks you pull a back muscle out trying to push them back to look thru them and still there’s no room to look. It’s been like this forever. Writing this review in hopes that the owner takes this serious and makes changes or do not advertise all sizes. Prior to Covid I could go in once a week and possibly find one good thing. I tried again last night and it was even worst. I seen another lady in my size range she did the same throng and just walked out like I did."

"Everyone in the store was super nice. When it comes to selling clothes they don't take anything over 2 years old doesn't matter if it's never been worn. The woman helping me told me I had a bunch of cute stuff that she would love to take but because of company policy she had to pass. I personally don't buy for brand. If it's cute, I get it. Make me free different about shopping at Clothes Mentor now."
