"I went to this school for a year and I started off rough and stressed out. I couldn't keep up with my work, I never got the e-mails on time, and the teachers hardly care about your grades unless you were already a student there. This school is good but they always have bad times. I was supposed to graduate this year but now they are saying it's not possible. The counselors and teachers see you every day and most of them know who you are but they will not help you on bettering yourself, they would walk right passed you with a smile. When i was a student at GOC I made multiple appointments with my counselor about my grades and she never answered me back. so if you enroll your child please watch the staffs and your child. "While I can see how the offered courses help some people, the truth is that the style of the courses are not suited to everyone. For example, the course assignments provides no in-depth study of a subject, it's mostly busy work. My school is on a block schedule, so I often cannot do my lesson at school and find myself doing two hours of work a night. Many students, such as myself, do not have the time to do ten hours of homework from one course a week before Sunday. Therefore, many other of my peers and I will not be taking these classes next year."

"I take a class in the supplemental program as a part to my regular school day so that I can take extra electives. While some of the work seems a bit arbitrary and overbearing, it is manageable. I have had a good experience with GOC and I am really fortunate to have found a way to take all my classes and electives with my busy schedule. I also love having accounts for many useful websites I can now use for all of my school work."

"This school is very overwhelming. Its only the fifth week of school and I've done at least seven different projects. Sometimes I even have two projects on the same day. When I asked my friends that go to South Gwinnett High School how many projects have they done. All of them didn't have one project at all. Also, the work load is insane. it literally takes me all day long to finish one day worth of school work. Sometimes I have to turn some of these assignments in late because of how long it takes. DO NOT go to this school unless you like to sit at a computer all day!"

"This is such a great school! I love the flexibility it gives me, I am usually done with school before my friends in the brick and mortar are. Also, they will totally work with you and your needs. For example, if you need help any of the teachers will gladly sit down one on one with you and will make sure you understand. Also, the students are very nice and you are sure to feel welcome!"
