"I came in due to chronic pain caused by a gout attack. A male nurse came out and suggested I finish taking a medication prescribed for laryngitis. The nurse would not even let me see a Dr. I asked him if I could take Ibuprofen with my other prescription and he said I could without consulting with the Dr, then googled on his phone to be sure, also without consulting with the Dr. The fact of the matter is, it was 30 minutes from closing, I was the only person left there, and they wanted to get me out of there so they could close shop. They cared nothing of the pain I was in. So I went down the street to MedCare to get the anti inflammatory shots I needed for relief, fully disclosing to them what I mentioned to Palmetto. The difference being MedCare did not treat me as an inconvenience. I will never go to that Palmetto urgent care again."

"Would not recommend to my worst enemy to go to this practice. Unorganized and do not listen to patients. The first doctor I saw here told me I had an eating disorder and basically said 'good luck' turns out if he would have just listened to me and sent me in the right direction I would have found out sooner that I have a pituitary gland / adrenal gland disorder which caused me to drop weight to a deathly number. Not to mention their billing department is trash and bills insurance incorrectly. I also went in for a CT of abdomen and a halter monitor to be put on. They put the halter monitor on before the CT and had to remove it for obvious reasons and then NEVER asked if I was pregnant or when the date of last period was. Found out a few days later I was pregnant. That negligent malpractice right there."

"Let me tell you about Anitra. I walked into PPC Urgent Care with back issues today. We all know that back spasms/ anything involving your back is very painful. One you get into a comfortable spot you don't want to move. Anitra came over and checked me in took my payment and went back and forth for me so that I didn't have to move. Thank you so much."

"While the medical staff are great, this practice uses suspicious billing practices. Four times now, I have received additional bills with "adjustments" showing I owed more money for services I had received 6+ months earlier (or in a couple cases, more than year before). When I called to ask why I routinely receive adjustments for services 6-12 months ago, I was told there is some kind of "glitch" in their billing system...which has been there for almost 2 years at this point! I'm fed up with the surprise bills and will be going to another practice that can get the bill correct the first time."

"I have had a fairly negative experience here so far. The office is incredibly slow with communication. Expect to wait fifteen minutes on hold to be told the receptionist can't do anything to help get you scheduled. You will wait an hour (usually longer) past your appointment time to even be seen. You will also wait days for x-ray results and when you call to inquire (to find out if your bone is broken and because you are in serious agony), that you are being a nuisance by calling. The doctor was very nice, but the staff is not friendly and communication is terrible."
