"My child attended the Einstein Academy for 7 weeks last fall in Ms. Azzarito's class. The classroom is set up well for children with sensory challenges. The Art club is good too. That is what earned the two star rating. The 3 person staff limits the school from being able to give adequate support to all types of special needs children. Ms. Azzarito displayed significant communication, social and behavior challenges, which my child displays as well. Their similarities made it difficult to build a positive and successful relationship."
"I am so thankful for Einstein Academy. Einstein has been an outstanding fit for my ASD (among other things) son. He is thriving in school and he looks forward to going to school every day. His teacher, Heather Smith, works with her students not just on academics but also their social and physical challenges. I adore Ms Smith and am so fortunate she is part of my kiddo's team. Einstein Academy is such a nurturing and supportive place for both children and families."
"I am the parent of two children that have attended Einstein Academy. One recently graduated from 8th grade and the other is currently still enrolled. Our experience with the school has been amazing. My daughter started in 6th grade and had spent her elementary years at a highly recognized public school. But they were not capable of providing her with what she needed. She was bullied, ignored and a shadow of herself. Within days of starting schooling at Einstein, she found other children that were just like her and for the first time in her life she felt accepted and included. That positive peer reinforcement led to a better attitude and self esteem. Her grades improved as she learned how to monitor and work with her ADD. She graduated last fall and has gone back to public high school. She is THRIVING there. She has to work hard at her academics. But because of the life and social skills she learned at Einstein, she is able to continue her positive trajectory. My son, also ADD, spent a tremendous amount of time in public school being in "trouble" for not being able to sit still. He felt angry and unimportant compared to the other children. After my daughter's success at Einstein we placed our son here as well. The small class sizes gave him the extra teacher attention he so craved. He began at Einstein in 4th grade. He LOVES his teachers. He feels appreciated and valued and his academics are above average because of the schooling he gets. I just had has progress meeting this week and it is so great to finally hear a teacher speak about all the positive attributes that my child has, instead of hearing how he is too fidgety. If your child has ADHD, you know what exactly what I mean. If you are searching for a small school for your child here in Greenville...I honestly can't say enough great things about this amazing School."
"My son was struggling with larger classes and making friends because of his anxiety with ADHD. We are in our second year with Einstine and this year is proving to be the best he has had. His teacher Mrs. Fleming is patient and understanding of his needs and how to communicate with him as I have seen all of the staff do. His grades are improving not to mention his behavior. I’m so grateful that we were referred to Einstine and my son has shown such growth in the past two years. I feel we are very blessed!"
"We needed to find a smaller, low-distraction environment for our son, and Einstein was the perfect fit. His teachers have been outstanding, and his academic program is individualized to fit his needs. Keep in mind, this is not a school for kids with behavior issues - it is a safe place for students with learning differences."
