"I absolutely love this day care! Kirsten and Danielle are very efficient in the way they do their jobs. I drop off my twins every day with confidence that they are being well taken care of. They are there for a very long time during the day, so them being safe is extremely important to me! From my experience, I have witnessed 0 red flags from Cadence on Butler rd!! The entire staff are all super sweet and I love how they all call every child by their names. I ask my twins every day how they like their teacher(s), and they always give me the same positive answer. While no daycare is perfect, me and my twins seem to really enjoy this one. Highly recommend."

"I was not happy with the overall care or learning my son received while Shelly and Hannah were in the classroom. My concerns were not truly addressed by Danielle, and my husband and I could feel the shift when we addressed issues. Staff had attitudes and were impartial. Of course kids are forgiving, so I took my son back to say goodbye and Hannah pretended not to see my 5yr old and ignored him until I got her attention. The children who don’t know the information that they are there to learn are overlooked and not given the proper attention . At experienced at Especially Children Day Care I never experienced this with my older children. Teresa was a lot easier to deal with when my son was in her room in the mornings and afternoons. She speaks up when the children are mistreated by children or staff. Teresa is very straightforward and while most don’t like that I prefer knowing who a person really is and if they’re going to say it there are no gray areas. Teresa(her assistants),Toya, Cynthia, AJ , and even Kirsten are very attentive and treat children equally. They hold the bullies of each classroom accountable while protecting the more reserved children. Excuses were made by Danielle, Hannah, and Shelly for the behaviors of non African American children, but the African American children were held accountable for everything they did no matter how minute. I originally wasn’t going to post a review, but I know other parents have pulled their kids who attended around the same time in my son’s class. Parents deserve to know the not so glamorous experiences. There were issues during enrollment due to poor communication and Kirsten was nice-sty. There were issues with emails I didn’t receive, but were rectified only, because I stood my ground. My son was unenrolled and only attended for a few months. I picked him up early daily once I saw the impartiality and ended up keeping him home when I was not working. We experienced reversion in his learning and communication which I addressed with our pediatrician who also noticed it. My son is a lot happier in public school and is making friends. He often played alone at Cadence, because of the environment. The teachers do not create an inclusive environment in k3."

He loves school now and is excited about moving into kindergarten. They have taken such great care of him and he has learned so much!"

"Our family has had a wonderful experience with Cadence Academy on Butler Road. I called Cadence in a panic when my maternity leave was coming to an end and I found out we weren’t going to get in to another daycare. They scheduled us for a tour quickly, welcomed us with open arms, and worked with us on our preferred start date. There are several things that make me feel great about taking my child to Cadence Academy. First, Danielle and Kirsten greet us with smiles every day. They over communicate what is happening at Cadence which is very helpful. Second, I adore my child’s teachers in the infant room! They genuinely care about my child and give me wonderful reports each day. After about a week of blowouts, they very kindly suggested that it may be time to go up in diaper size (DUH!). They didn’t make me feel like a terrible mom for not realizing that. Third, I truly appreciate how well Cadence uses their app. I get real time updates throughout the day and as a breastfeeding mom, I love that I can stay on the same pumping schedule. Finally, since my work schedule is flexible, we have fluctuated on drop offs and pick ups and they have been incredibly accommodating to our weekly changing schedule. I could go on and on, but these are the things that have made our experience trusting Cadence great so far!"
