"I took my first class today at this location, and am uncertain if I will be back after how the instructor treated me. I walked up to her to introduce myself, and to let her know this was my third pilates class. She was very cold and unwelcoming. She quickly explained how I needed to grab some certain equipment and set it up. I told her I was confused how to and she walked past me and ignored me two times. It was very off putting. I asked her again to help me and she just stood there and watched me struggle. I finally figured it out myself. I was hoping for a relaxing workout after a long day of work, but the way she treated me at the beginning bothered me my entire workout. On the contrary, I did feel challenged during the workout and enjoyed the physical part of it. I am still dismay about how she treated me though. It was a complete 180 from the experience I had at solidcore in Pittsburgh. At solidcore, when I told them it was my first class, the instructor helped me and was cheering me on the entire time. She created such a fun and positive experience. I was hoping to have that same level of welcomeness at Club Pilates in Mount Pleasant. Overall, it was a very unwelcoming environment but decent workout. I am going to try other Pilate studios around Charleston before I go back to this one."
