"I've been going to McPhail Animal Hospital for 15 + years for several dogs and the whole staff is simply AWESOME! Always very friendly and professional. They have taken great care of my buddies over the years and it's the same level of service every single time, emergency or otherwise. Thanks MAH!!"
"It was my first time here! I needed an appt. for my cat Garfield. My mom recommended this place. They got me in the same day! The entire staff was EXTREMELY kind! Definitely will be going here from now on :)"
"This will be a long review but please read if you are thinking of bringing your pet here. I brought my cat in around 3 weeks ago after he fell ill with a cough and cold like symptoms. When I arrived to check my cat in, the man at the front desk was rude and had an issue with the fact that I made the appointment under my last name after my mom previously brought my cat in for a nail trim under her last name. When my cat was being examined, the doctor only took his temperature, felt his stomach, and looked down his throat before claiming that "when they get patients with such symptoms, they automatically assume it is a hairball issue and treat it as a hairball." Keep in mind, the doctor did not listen to my cat's breathing or his lungs at any point in time. I was charged $70 for this "physical examination" that lasted not even 5 minutes and was not thoroughly done. The vet tech was also rude and snarky during the examination. After his symptoms still persisted for weeks after, I brought him into another vet's office for a second opinion. After McPhail Animal Hospital was contacted by the new vet for the records, they claimed they had never seen my cat and had no record of our visit (due to the issue the front desk guy gave me about bringing my cat in under my last name). Luckily, I had the receipt from our visit. The new vet diagnosed my cat with PNEUMONIA, something that McPhail Animal Hospital failed to do since they did not even check his breathing or lungs after I stated that I believed he had a cold or some kind of upper respiratory infection. Had McPhail Animal Hospital done their job, my cat would not have suffered for weeks on end or even developed pneumonia. I am very displeased with my visit here and would not recommend this vet to anyone. If I could give 0 stars, I most certainly would."
"They were friendly and comforting during a very difficult time. They got me in right away, so I am thankful for that. But I feel like he was very rough with my kitty. She was very sick and, to me, very fragile. I think he should've been a bit more gentle with her. They are very expensive and won't break up the large fee, so that put me in a really bad spot financially. I've been there several times before but I think this will be my last."
