"Very disappointed with this nail salon, not sure how they have 4.2 stars! It’s in a great area, i would think they had better service. I got a full set and wanted a festive design. When i showed the nail tech my design, he seemed unsure of it. Whole time he didn’t seem too confident with his work & I could tell he didn’t know what he was doing compared to all the nail techs i’ve ever had. when we got to the nail design portion, he pulled out another picture and asked if I wanted that design instead, the design was ugly, so of course, I said no. He tried to do the design i wanted, but he just couldn’t. I left with the base of my nails and unhappy, my left hand nails and not even straight, they’re slanted. I don’t understand if he knew he couldn’t do the design why he wouldn’t get a nail tech that could. I will never go there again, nor will i recommend. Just a waste of money and time."
"They got me in really fast. It’s a nice place. I had a horrible experience at another place in town and got acrylics done. I’m new to getting my nails done again so I didn’t know that person. Jenny did a fill in for me today and they are BEAUTIFUL. She took her time and shaped them very nice and the polish looks so good. Very happy and can’t wait to go back!"
"I won’t be back. I made an appointment with a specific nail tech, but when I get there I’m told she can’t do my nails. The young guy at the desk says he will do them. I had limited time so I let him do them. I told him I didn’t want square and I left with square nails. They look awful. This place was good when I started going there, but has been going down hill consistently."
"I’ve been utilizing their services for almost a year now. Just recently (last 2 visits), Amy has been the technician that has provided my service. After a week, 3 of my nails broke and due to the nature of my schedule I wasn’t able to return for a repair and had to get the repairs done elsewhere. Fast forward to yesterday, 9/15; Amy did my nails and she wasn’t pleasant at all; she didn’t offer me anything to drink, however the Caucasian woman that came in and was nest to me in chair #4, her nail tech offered her a drink. Each and every time I come to Posh, I spend no less than $65 and I feel as if I should be treated better."
"I am a usual customer and had never had this issue before. I get acrylic with gel top nails. This time I decided to get a new full set and was charged for removal of nails and was not told this was going to be an extra charge. Second, the removal of nails were painful and using a TIP nail to remove - I had one instance where the TIP nail was dug into my cuticle and nail bed a few times, then a natural nail was ripped off and broken while the acrylic was being “peeled” off. I was then asked if I would like my two now broken nails to put tips on them ... which I did since they were significantly shorter than all my other nails. Next, I had to repeatedly tell him what shape I wanted which I ended up with a different shape I asked for. I asked about a color they might have and I was not given any direction for any similar colors so I just got the same color I last got on my my nails. Lastly, my nails were filed down so much to a shape I didn’t ask for (and got charged for extra filing) while my nail beds were compromised, bleeding, and uncomfortable. This was the worst nail salon experience I’ve ever had. John (up front) offered me “10 dollars off” which in my opinion was not worth the horrible experience. I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else after I voiced my concerns to them during and before I left the salon. Very unprofessional."
