Northwest Exterminating

"Requested an appointment to have a termite inspection (annual) to see if I needed treatment or prevention. The lady gave the wrong security code (four digits) to the inspector. I had to help him via text. He said the crawlspace was tight but he was able to do the inspection and even gave me information about the state of the crawlspace and the moisture level. We never received our inspection report with proposed actions. We followed up with the office and they were supposed to email it to us. The email never came. I called today and tried to see what was wrong. I spoke to Tamara (I think) who was helpful. She seemed to understand the misunderstanding. I asked that they call me back. The lady who scheduled the original appointment called back, but to my wife. I called back to the office and was told how it was our fault, the inspector wasn't able to do the inspection (even though he said he did in his text) and we were supposed to call to let them know that the technician wasn't able to do an inspection that he said he did. I have called the main office and we will see how they deal with it. I would not recommend. At all. A manager was supposed to contact me in the last 24 hours. Crickets!"

"This company is the absolute best. Prior to me contacting Northwest we had a structural company come out only to find a family of skunks in the crawl space, which led to me contacting them. From Tamara taking the call and Glenn arriving at my home about 2 hours later. Glenn is definitely the rock star. The response time was impressive. He was polite, professional and provided recommendations. When he left he even called back for something he thought about after the fact. He also informed me of other services they offer. No more contacting big companies when we have great people right in my own town."

"I’m NOT a happy customer! I’ve been with this company for years, their Pest Control man would come by my house periodically and walk around the outside, then leave a note at my door that he came by. The one time in the many years I have been with this company, formerly Piedmont Pest Control, that I call for help for a hornet’s nest right above my front door, their receptionist tell’s me it’s going to cost me and extra $150 inspection fee! Why was I not informed by their pest exterminator that hornets were building a nest on my front porch? I have a contract with them to control pest! I didn’t notice it was there till the hornets tried to attacked me! How could they allow this happen? I’m faithful to pay my Pest Control bill on time and the one time I call and asked them for help they try to sell me another program. This is NOT Pest Control! I guess I’ll head to Home Depot and buy a can of Raid and hope I don’t get stung. This is my experience with Northwest Exterminating. Unsatisfied customer."

"I feel that the service is adequately priced. The peace of mind it provides, to me, is well worth the cost to us. We don't care for having to mix solutions, buy bug spray and termite killer, nor do we want to touch any of that stuff. It's just a big service that protects our property and allows us to live life, rather that worry about the bugs. The service reps are very responsible, communicate well, and are friendly and professional. We discuss issues we may notice and can also call if something pops up between service dates. We also may want to move at some point, and feel that having this service, which is transferable is an added bonus to potential buyers. In addition, when we bought our current home, there was a musty awful smell, and we realized that under the house was constantly wet. And a cat had made a smelly mess in one area. We used Northwest's division to install a dehumidify system, and they also treated the cat's smells. My husband consistently checks under the house after bad rain storms, and we are so happy to say, everything stays dried up under the house. We are very pleased with this service as well. And we priced this system with other companies, Northwest was again, very professional, and priced appropriately."
