"STAY AWAY!!!! Dishonest/Misdiagnosing I have two experiences with Guaranteed Services "MISDIAGNOSING" my HVAC/Furnace system through my home warranty company quoting me for a total of $3,200 in repairs that only ended up costing me $351 in actual repairs. FYI: My HVAC system is over 20yrs old and still runs very efficiently but matters get tricky when you have a warranty company that insists on not making repairs. The first time my HVAC system would not turn on due to a clog in the drain line (this is a simple fix-I ended up removing the clog with a shopvac). Instead of simply unclogging the drain line they reported a few issues back to my home warranty company which were not affecting my system function at all. This caused my home warranty company to refuse to cover my repairs and even tried to drop my coverage and they quoted my $1,500 for the repair. Ultimately I ended up having a technician from another company come out to validate their diagnoses/quote and his he said my system was running efficiently and the suggested repairs were not necessary and quote was almost $1,000 over what he would have charged me if necessary. The second instance was the gas valve on my furnace needed to be replaced. I diagnosed it myself; it was easy to do so. I contacted my warranty company to make sure it was covered before making a claim and they confirmed it was. It turns out Guaranteed Services was their contractor of choice once again. Their technician was in my attic for literally 10 mins before he left and told me the gas valve needed to be replaced and that it would be repaired in a week or less. Next thing I know my warranty company has approved a “furnace replacement” and I will owe Guaranteed Services $1,700 for modifications not covered by my contract. After going back and forth Diana from Guaranteed Services told me I had a “Cracked Heat Exchanger” and my gas valve need to be replaced and since my system was so old it would be cheaper to replace it than make repairs. I brought out another technician to diagnose and quote me as a second opinion. He picked up a replacement gas valve and had my furnace working in less than 3 hours from calling him. He even took apart my furnace to inspect my Heat Exchanger……. NO CRACKS or RUST! In his opinion it appeared to have years of life left in it. I sent the pictures of my perfect Heat Exchanger to Diana with the update and she had no explanation to the false claim of it being cracked. All she could say is that it was in the warranty company's best interest to replace my furnace as a whole. Additionally, my warranty company is reimbursing me for my out-of-pocket costs for having to make the gas va."

They both were strictly professional, and conducted great quality work repair in a timely manner. I was amazed of their quick response. On the day before I received a message stating that someone from the organization was coming to my house between 12pm - 3pm. They showed up exactly at 12pm. Thank you for your service. Even though it took awhile to get the repair completed (back ordered parts) they kept us updated every step of the way. From the office staff to the techs that came out, both communication and service could not have been better, we highly recommend!"

"Technician called to tell me he was 10 minutes away to never show up and never call. I waited all day to still be without service when i called the technician back to see where he was and get an eta no answer. Called the office number several times to only reach a voicemail . After finally reaching someone at the office the following day, the gentleman had no answer as to why no one called or no showed. Very unprofessional. Call a dependable hvac company. Save yourself some time."
