"I really wanted to like this place. I’ve tried to make it my nail salon but after today I think I’ve had enough. Everytime I go to get my nails done, no matter what color I pick, the gel always “peels” off within the week or even few days. They usually fix it not a problem, but the anticipation of knowing I’m always going to have to go back to fix my nail color after I get them filled was quite annoying. It’s always an excuse. “The nail color you picked isn’t good, the nail didn’t dry long enough, they applied it too thick, it wasn’t buffed enough.” All of which are not my fault. I called today to tell the owner I wanted my nail color fixed. It had only been a week since having them filled and the man who did them last week disagreed with every single thing I told him I wanted done. She told me to come in to look at them because I told her they were peeling. She personally wanted to do my nails after seeing them and I said fine. I pay a lot to have nails and I’m tired of coming in to get them fixed so if she can get them to stop peeling I will go to her…. She was very rude about it at first, kept insisting I chose a color…already hesitant because at this point I’m not sure which color isn’t going to peel. Fast forward to now, I’m looking at my nails and I can see bubbling under the gel top coat, its peeled, it’s now a day later and one of the bubbles lifted, there’s top coat all over my cuticle and they’re un-evenly painted. It seems like no matter who I go to it’s always a problem or an excuse. I’ve been getting my nails done for the past 15 years, I tried this place because I moved to SC about a year ago. I know good quality nails. Will not be going back anymore."

"The manager was super nice but the lady on the first row to the left side the second desk who was kind of younger around her 30-40s was ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE attitude was garbage clearly doesn’t know that you have to be respectful when working in customer service. Very lucky I had god on my side because the level of anger I was at with this disrespectful unprofessional lady was definitely a sign never to go back to a place who would hire someone who can’t do nails and can’t speak to customers properly. The moment I sat down in her seat I was looking at the colors and different whites she said “ if you want white tell me now” as if I didn’t just sat down. Then had a attitude the entire time NEVER GOINF BACK AGAIN GET NEW WORKERS"

"I recently visited this nail salon that provided an excellent overall experience. However, there was one major drawback that significantly affected my enjoyment: the excessively loud and annoying timers used throughout the salon. The staff and ambience of the salon were very pleasant, and they showed great attention to detail in their work. Unfortunately, as soon as the timers went off, it became incredibly irritating. The managers would immediately rush over and insistently demand that the workers reset their timers to a specific time. It felt as though this unnecessary urgency was aimed at rushing the workers and potentially compromising the quality of their services, notably concerning my own pedicure. In my opinion, timers with loud alerts are disruptive and counterproductive to the relaxing atmosphere that nail salons strive to create. It seems that the sole purpose of these timers is to impose a sense of urgency on the workers, which is discomforting for both them and the customers. Consequently, if I encounter a nail salon that uses timers in the future, I will likely choose not to patronize that establishment, as it suggests a prioritization of speed over quality. While I appreciate the efforts of this salon in providing excellent service, the presence of annoying timers during my visit detracted from my overall satisfaction. I encourage the owners and management of the salon to consider alternative ways to manage time and ensure efficiency without compromising the relaxing experience for clients and workers alike."

"I have been coming here for a while and I have loved this place and the service that they provide. I recently moved to San Diego so I haven’t been able to get my nails done here. I came back to SC for my wedding and wanted my nails to be done. I had Sally do my nails and toes and I am so happy with her work! She made my nails look clean and even. I had a short nail on one of my hands and she was able to extend it without making it too thick or different from my natural nails. No one could tell the difference. Again, I am very pleased with Bliss Nails & Spa!"
