"We’ve been searching for about a month for some kitchen cabinet knobs from various stores in our area. We decided to try Westbury hardware around 11:45am on 9/18/21. We finally found what we’ve been seeking and want to buy 29 knobs for our kitchen cabinets, but there was only 3 in stock. We tried to find sales assistants on the floor, but couldn’t locate anyone to assist us. My spouse then went to the register area and spoke with a female who I didn’t see, but when she came back, I asked her if she found someone to assist us. She said the lady couldn’t assist us QUOTE: “because I have a bad leg and can’t walk far, so try to find someone”! SERIOUSLY! So I went up to the register and there was a young man there in his CELL PHONE, I asked him if he could assist us, and he said that he couldn’t because he must be at the register for customers. REALLY! But I guess it’s okay to be playing on your cellphone. I went back to the area, and we eventually found a gentleman willing to assist us. We showed him what we wanted, but he said that the items were not tagged correctly and said that he didn’t understand how this happened but assisted us in what we wanted. He walked us up to the register and order us 29 knobs for our kitchen cabinets and said that they would be in on Tuesdays truck. He took down our information and was very helpful and friendly. I asked him if the store offered a military discount ad he said yes, and I showed him my military ID Card. After the transaction, I asked him his name so I could give HIM a good review, not the other two lazy worthless employees and he said that his name was Jim, and he’s been with this store fir 29-years. THANK YOU JIM! Of note: if Dr. Lee Westbury is associated with this business, I know you personally from when I was a school teacher in the early 2000’s after I retired from the military, and you were also my daughters school principal at Cane Bay High School…I suggest that you speak with that lady and young man that I described who were useless, and let Jim know that he was a great assistants to us today. I wanted to post two pictures of these two lazy worthless employees, but I will refrain and give you a chance to correct their unwillingness and unwanted behaviors.
