"I started going to Mr. Rodney when I got my driver's license. I was living in Bamberg at the time. He was recommended to me by one of my high school teachers who knew him. That was 52 years ago, and I am still driving there, now from Barnwell! When Mr. Rodney had some health issues and was not open, I tried someone else, but they couldn't tame my hair like he did. So I went for several months without getting a cut, and was so glad when he was able to return. He is just the best at what he does!! I consider him a good friend."

"Very friendly gentleman. Only waited about ten minutes for my haircut. While getting my haircut, the man stopped 2 times for deliveries coming in for 5 minutes each. Then his phone rang and I had to wait another 10 minutes while he was on the phone before coming back to finish my haircut. I showed him a picture of the haircut, which is an easy side part mid fade. Overall the haircut was OK at best. Then after 45 minutes after sitting in the barbers chair he was done and charged me 18 dollars. Only reason I got my haircut there is because my barber is closed on Wednesday and that was only day I had the time to get my haircut. If you are over the age of 65 or if it's your child's first haircut, then that's the barber to go to. Otherwise I would recommend going to another barber. Only reason he gets 2 stars instead of one is because he was friendly"

"We’ve taken our son to Mr. Rodney a couple times now and he did an amazing job on the haircut both times. My son is blonde so it’s hard to find people who know how to cut his hair without lines showing, and I have to say after coming here 2x his hair has never looked so good. I love sending him here. Highly recommend!"
