"I bought a set of irons in Dec 2023 from the Hilton Head store. There was an issue with the clubs, but the Barry (Manager) was very professional and helpful. I live about an hour away near Savannah and I will certainly be driving to Golf Galaxy on HHI when I need golf items."

"If I could give zero stars I would. I don’t ever write reviews but today I drove my golf nut family over an hour to look at the new store. I know about the 0% finance option and was going to order a few thousand dollars worth of clubs and carts for my kids. After asking for help the first time I was put into a bay with one ball to test wedges. I found a couple more balls. I decided on wedges and my wife had to ask for help again to look at drivers. Once someone came over and built an iron and driver they again walked away. Once deciding on irons I asked to see the track man specs on two different drivers that I built myself. The first person told me they were a cashier only and continued walking away. My wife found another person who we asked and he said he couldn’t do that, but did actually show some semblance of customer service by finding who I believe was the manager. The manager came over and told me that option was for fittings only or I could rent the bay. He never even asked if I would like to rent the bay, just came over like an enforcer of the bay to let me know the rules. I have been in the golf business my entire life and this was the worst experience I have ever had trying to thousands of dollars worth of any merchandise much less golf clubs. I felt like a nuisance the entire time I was there and will not ever go back. Thank you for the use of the bay I will now purchase elsewhere!"

"We visited the store yesterday to get me a new driver to replace my broken one. Jake was right there to assist us. We came down to HHI for vacation from Michigan. And with me only play 10 times a year, I really don't want to spend top dollar for a driver. Jake was very helpful and not judgmental. He tried to help me pick up what would work for me. With me being 5'2" in hight, some youth sets that my husband believe it would work for me. With the price for the good driver, we can get a whole new set that works great for me. Jake helped us to pick the set and set me up for trying the clubs. I played bad. And he was very encouraging. We will certainly return to the store because of his service."

"Just finished a gap analysis with Stanhope,, Master Club fitter and Devin (visiting from different location). Couldn’t have been a better experience. Both of them were very insightful and very detailed in their work. Really helped me understanding distances for all clubs, ball/club speed, landing angles etc. so great to Golf Galaxy on the island!!!"
