"Horrible customer service at this location in Rincon GA. Signed up a little under a year ago for a warranty on a ps5 controller. Was told if something went wrong I could return it a get a brand new controller. To my surprise the store manager gets a used beat up looking controller and tells me their warranty policy changed in November of 2023 and they could only give me a used controller. I told the manager I’d like them to honor the warranty I paid for or I’d like a refund on my warranty. She refused and told me if I want a new controller to go to Walmart and buy one for $75. The manager was rude and smug the whole time."

"Called the Rincon location yesterday (12/7/23) looking for a copy of Call of Duty Vanguard for PS5. The guy I spoke with (I don’t remember his name or else I would put him on blast personally) on the phone said that they had it. So I asked if he could set it aside for me and I’d be by to pick it up when I got off work. He said “Sure, no problem.” Well after I get off work I go up there to grab it and he hands me a copy of it for PS4. I said “That’s for PS4. I need it for PS5.” To which he replied “They didn’t make it for PS5 but it will work just the same since PS5 is backwards compatible.” I thought to myself “It was in fact made for PS5. I know this because the game came out in 2021 and the PS5 came out in 2020 so why wouldn’t it have been made for PS5.” But instead I said “Um ok” took the game and walked to my car. Then I looked it up and found it for PS5 went back into the store and over to the used game shelf. Found it on PS5 grabbed it and walked up to the counter held it up to him and all he could manage to say was “Oh”. Like seriously how in the h*** are you gonna work in a game store and portray yourself to be a gamer and not know what systems a game was made for. This isn’t the first issue I’ve had with this store but it will be the last. From now on I’ll just drive to the Pooler store. They have a bigger selection and a much more knowledgeable staff!"

"And gamestop wonders why they are struggling. Just walked in to buy the new spiderman on ps5. 2 employees working and we were the only ones in the store. They never spoke to us once so after looking for the game and not finding it we left. What a waste to have 2 people on the clock and not even try to make a sale or even say hello."

"Didn't mind the driving from Pooler to Rincon since this Gamestop was the only place it had what my son was looking for."

"I went in today about 5 pm for a quick purchase, found a product that I wanted in about 7 minutes, and sat in line for about 20+ minutes while the cashier serviced the long line by himself.He was great, courteous, and very helpful but he was set up for failure pretty hard by being staffed to run the store by himself while everyone is coming home from work. He had a great attitude though and I'm throwing few more stars on the pile for such a quality employee."
