"The Palmetto Animal League is a fabulous facility. The people are very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The facility is very, very clean. The animals are well cared for and loved while they wait to be adopted. This is a no-kill facility that houses dogs and cats until they are adopted. The facility also cares for a large population of outdoor cats that are available for adoption. They have an onsite clinic that offers veterinary care for dogs and cats, by appointment only."

"Me, my fiancé, and our little girl were looking for a little addition to our family, her name is Lampurrrghini. She’s very sweet and really spunky! She’s nine months old and everyone at the PAL has been very nice and very helping to finding the right pet for us! Most young cats would not already be lap cats but she loves being on our laps and giving us allot of affection! We are truly blessed!"

"Palmetto Animal League gave me my best friend. I moved out of my parents house and was ready for a dogma boyfriend and I went to Palmetto Animal League without knowing that I needed an appointment, the lady at the front desk without knowing what dog I was looking for told me that a special dog would be perfect for me. I read her information, thought about it for a day or two than set up an appointment. I fell in love with her the moment I saw her big smile. I was able to adopt her and she is my best friend and is a big cuddle bug."

"Be weary on adopting from this facility! I adopted two animals from here roughly 7 years ago and both pets initially had medical issues that were minor at first but overtime my one pets issues turned into very hefty medical bills. I absolutely love my pets and I am so happy to have saved them and have them part of my family, but the amount of knowledge and possible warnings and also types of testing my pets received prior to adoption was not at all very much. I want to let anyone know if you choose to adopt here to really make sure that there may not be a debilitating alines that may actually increasingly get worse overtime that will be extremely costly. I got my cat when he was a kitten and he has had constant urinary issues and I have spent thousands on him to make him comfortable and he has chronic UTIs and this was not discovered when he was a baby at this facility when adopted and realizing weeks later him having urinary issues and when asked about it the staff pushed it off as a “temporary issue”.. this was not at all.. 7 years later."
