"This, like most Food Lion's, is in fact a large store with groceries. This one happens to be dirtier than most and have no self checkout lines at all so you have to wait in line for everything but it's got cookies and stuff which is pretty great."

"The cashiers are lazy .have a attitude. Don't checkout with no more than 5 items .cause they are going to give you a attitude..if you don't want to work .why did you show up.should of stayed home..."

"I don't know whether or not I can give 3and a half stars but I was hesitant to give the Food Lion 4 stars. I'd give the people 5 stars and the grocery 3 if I could. The people are very friendly and helpful unlike most groceries where you can never find help when you need it. The folks here are pleasant. The grocery prices are more reasonable than most others. However, the variety of selection is somewhat limited. There are things you just cannot get here. You'd have to travel over to James Island or West Ashley. It is, however, Johns Island. I don't think there is a high demand for things like figs or decorating sugar here so I can understand that the Food Lion might not keep these things in stock. The facility is fairly clean. I haven't seen many molded vegetables yet. And the traffic isn't bad in and out of the parking lot."

"Staff is super friendly! The store is always clean and very organized. The store got remodeled not to long ago and it still has that new smell and feel. Lots of choices on many products. ( you can also rent carpet cleaner here)"
