"I don't normally do reviews but I felt the need to express my experience with this gun shop. I went in on a Friday to purchase 8 round magazines for a 45 caliber 1911 handgun. The clerk showed me one. I checked it out and told him I wanted five. He got four more and put them in a bag.I paid and left. When I got home I found that he had mistakenly put two wrong ..magazines in the bag. The next day that they were open was Monday so that's when I took them back and was told that their policy was no returns or refund. He did offer me a chance to trade them in on some ammunition that I don't need. Ammunition that's priced twice as high as anywhere else. I refused and after giving my opinion I left . All I can tell you is if you're looking for guns or ammunition or good service don't go here. If you don't know the area Google Woody's pawn in Orangeburg. You'll save yourself a lot of money and deal with decent people."

"Had a great experience purchasing a pistol from here a few days ago. I'll put this early on: for anyone wanting to purchase firearms here, you'll need to go the day that this review is posted, otherwise, you'll be out of luck as they are no longer selling firearms beginning 2/14/2023. Everyone that worked in the shop was very helpful with making decisions and they were more than fine with letting me look at a ton of different choices before finally deciding. The selection isn't the widest but it's really not a problem considering everything they sold there was very good. I'm not sure where they'll go after stopping the sale of firearms, but I encourage anyone who needs anything in Orangeburg to consider this store."
