"I bought something for Christmas for a family member and it did not fit correctly. We went to take it back and try on another and found no dressing room. After trying it on in the corner of the store it still did not fit correctly. We then asked about a refund but was told they don’t do refunds unless it is bought the same day. I had just purchased it the night before and it hadn’t been 24 hrs. I was then told that they don’t go by hours only same day. Didn’t pass the common sense test at all. Poor poor experience and was treated very rudely after complaining about ridiculous policy. I have a store credit but will count that as a lesson learned and my last gift to that store."

"Wide variety of Clemson and South Carolina clothes, hats, stickers, magnets, glasses, and so much more. If sports is not your thing, they have plenty of other stuff like Simply Southern and other things. It's more than a sports store."

"I gave it an it's okay rating for the simple fact that I went in here to look for a ball cap for a friend of mine who collects them.. One is 29.99 and the other ones are $24.95 for a baseball cap.. LOL... Needless to say; I did not buy it.. With that being said then I would say the store was an absolute waste of time unless you happen to be a Carolina Gamecocks or Clemson fan... That's all - that's it, and, it's all over priced merchandise that apparently they only survive on people who like Gamecocks and Clemson... I found it to be a waste of my time I did not find what I was looking for.. I will never return for I didn't even go to either one of those colleges.. If they offered all educational institutions i would have found an interest:-). I've asked many people who support the Gamecocks or Clemson fanatically either football and or baseball but yet they actually didn't attend college - so the store is perfect... On the upside of it though I would say that the store is clean the lady was nice to me.. I had no problems with the service or the place.. my problems relied solely on product and price..."

"Upstate Tailgate has some great merchandise for Clemson and Carolina football fans. They have everything from apparel of all types, to spatulas and umbrellas. The prices are somewhat steep, but that's to be expected for collegiate products. My gripe with the store is that it doesn't seem to have any sort of organization. Things are strewn haphazardly throughout the entire store, and the staff rarely know if they have a particular item in stock. They are very willing to point you to other sources if they do know that a certain item isn't stocked, which is great, but typically they aren't sure. If you go in search of a particular item, be prepared to dig for it."
