"I’m very disappointed in my experience. I was very excited to patronize this business, but as it seems, this location didn’t want my money. Prior to my appointment I visited the shop twice. The first time I was just walking through and went to meet the Barber, Shawn. I just wanted to know if she also dyed hair and did anything else with hair. She told me that she did, so I returned two weeks later to schedule my appointment. At the time she was very busy as there was work being done to the shop. She initially was short with me, but by the end of the conversation she was smiling and being friendly. We scheduled an appointment for today at 9:00 AM. I crawled out of my bed at 8 AM to make sure that I was ready to arrive on time. I arrive at 8:57 AM and she is working on a gentleman. I immediately get this weird energy when I walked in. The same energy that I felt when I went the first two times. This time it’s more glaring considering she’s also giving me weird looks. I find it strange that when I walk and she just looks at me like she didn’t expect me and then she finally says good morning. I sit there for 20 minutes waiting for her to complete this individual. 20 minutes. She doesn’t say anything, she doesn’t acknowledge that she’s late, in fact, she keeps looking at me like she doesn’t even want me there. After waiting all that time, getting the dirty looks, and feeling the negative energy, I decided to walk out. It’s clear that she didn’t give a damn about my time. It’s also clear that she didn’t even have the courtesy to be kind or to apologize for her tardiness. I’m very disappointed because I was very excited to get serviced by Ms. Shawn. But now that I think about it, I don’t know why, because she’s always had some really negative energy surrounding her. I guess I just look passed that and saw the talent. Note to self: if the energy isn’t good, you probably should leave people alone. I’m not sure what I did or if I did anything wrong at all. What I do know is I was willing to spend a lot of money to keep my hair maintained by her. I wanted to be a recurring client. Guess not, pulling up another shop now. They’ll get my coin."
