Abi's African Hair Braiding

"Overly priced and will pull your hair out... I paid $100 for crochet braids and my head was sore for 2 weeks. When I took my hair down, I had excess breakage all over! After she promised not to pull out my edges!"

"First time visiting it was great! 2nd time visiting for Box braids were terrible. 1st she had car issues so she/they were late. Which is cool things happen that you can't control. 2nd I went to go pick the 2 ladies up from their home. 3rd she told me on the phone the day before that if I came early Tues morning I could have 2 people work on my head, so it wouldn't take that long. 4th well that was a lie. Another lady helped for about 15min. 5th the BIG BANGER is I CLEARY asked her 3x NOT to pull my edges. They are thin and I have soft hair. Welp she did......So when the other lady took over braiding she SNATCHED the whole entire braid out INCLUDING my hair. I have a bald spot still and it's been nearly 3weeks. Last I explained to her over the phone that my hair was long, and it was past my shoulders. She said 180, when she seen my hair she said your hair is long, so it'll be 200. AFTER YOU JUST GAVE ME A BALD SPOT THAT I DON'T KNOW WILL GROW BACK AND I CAME AND PICKED YOU UP FROM YOUR HOME.....IT SHOULDN'T HAVEN'T BEEN 200......my opinion."

"My experience the first few times were great last time was horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My hair started coming out in two days !!!!i called to let them know they gave me the run around.. then I drove 2hours away to get to the establishment and they told me abi left !! And she told me no refund she later decide to get all in my face because I called the police to make a complaint!!! Before the police came she yell at me and told me she is from Africa and they voodoo and she was going use some on me !!! I don’t recommend this establishment for anyone they think they can get over on people that is spending good money with them"

"The experience was horrible. I made an appointment and still wasn't seen until an hour later. Then the hairstyle I actually wanted Abi wouldn't do it because she said it was too much work. Then I was there forever and she kept stopping. My hair felt like it was being ripped out and it was. I took my braids out a couple weeks later and my head was still sore and my hair was pulled out greatly AND my edges has ball spots in them. I am greatly disappointed with this experience and my hair being ripped from the scalp."

"I love this place by what the bracers are welcoming and sometimes funny even if some do not speak English well. The frame is large and very beautiful. On out of the very satisfied,reason why the work is well done. I encourage you to go there. May God bless you"
