"Finally, in my 2-year quest to try to go from brunette to sandy blonde to cover the grays, somebody got it! Suellen is the best! She has a lifetime of experience and it shows. My color is amazing and it feels great. Breakage was a big part of the problem I was having coming from the other salon. And I didn't realize how pretentious, unaccommodating, and outright unfriendly the other salon on James Island with the "faux French" name that I've been supporting for 2 years actually was until I visited Jae Space, which apparently was formerly Willow Salon. Everyone including my stylist was genuinely friendly, seemed to enjoy working there, and it overall just had a really good vibe. Looking forward to my next visit!"

"I came into Willow on James Island as a walk-in because my normal salon was booked. They were able to fit me in for a haircut with Lauren, after a short wait. I showed Lauren a picture of my usual cut which she enthusiastically said she could do. I should have known something was off when she finished up and asked if she could curl my hair because she didn't like the way it laid when straight (how it is naturally). At the time, I didn't think anything of it. It wasn't until I washed and styled my hair this morning that I realized how uneven and choppy it has been cut. The left side is noticeably shorter (at least 1/2") than the right, and there are random uneven strands all over. Unfortunately because I was a walk-in, I feel that my haircut was rushed which is why it resulted the way that it did. I am so upset and disappointed by this haircut that I don't want to even go back to the salon to have it fixed in fear of what will happen. Use my bad experience as a warning, and do not waste your time or money at this salon."
