"If you are looking for satisfactory upholstery work, this place is not where you want to go for your furniture or decor items to have work done. I dropped a foam pillow off at the end of January (2019) for a re-covering. The lady who took the pillow along with the measurements and color details told me she would not be the one to do it, the lady who would was on vacation but would return in a week so we had an oral agreement it would be complete in 5-6 weeks which I was understanding about. 5 weeks went by and I had not been contacted about the project. I called and left messages for them to contact me with an update. 2 days later the lady who returned from vacation called asking me for all the details again, she had not even begun on the project nor ordered fabric for it and I was surprised she had not contacted me before then with those questions. After answering her questions with the same details I provided at dropout there was no other communication until I reached out to her again, Also I volunteered to come by in person several times to go over any details with her, she said she would just consult her co-worker whom I spoke with at drop off. After the fabric came in she texted me to let me know she would have it ready "soon." She was unsure of the shape in her texts, so I reached out to her again to confirm we were still working on my pillow and not a different project. I picked up the pillow this week (APRIL 2019) 4 months later since the drop off, I was happy with the fabric and her stitch work was done well but I noticed the foam looked significantly shorter than my initial drop off, this was odd considering the shape was measuring 2 inches in excess on all measurements before the drop off to allow for the tight stitching. I was expecting some shrinkage, that is to be expected especially with the thicker fabric but not 6 inches shorter than the bench seat on both ends. I will never take any of my future upholstery needs to this place. I would have been better off driving to greenville to have my project completed in a timely manner or ordered a whole new cushion plus cover. It would have been cheaper that route as well. You all can laugh because the lady charged me $360 for a 2.5"x6' bench cushion trapezoid shape that took her 4 months to complete. It was not any fancy particular fabric either just a solid blue fabric that would stand normal wear&tear, no special details. I purchased the pillow itself for $80 back in 2000 when the house was purchased and could have bought a brand new covered one for $140. I learned my lesson but overall was the bigger person I paid the lady cash picked it up within minutes of her telling me it was complete through text msg. At pick up, I had cash and despite her not apologizing for the time it took to complete or my inconveniences, she took the full amount. I am a Customer Service manager and I would have discounted a paying cash customer for their troubles so they would may consider returning if I knew things did not go well with their service or expectations. I was relieved to finally have my personal property back. Customer Service definitely needs to be addressed at this establishment. Never Again."
