I tried to let her know as she was doing them several times but was ignored. I was hoping I would find a new nail salon to go to regularly close to my new house, the search continues."

"I will never go back here again. I was told the price of a polish manicure was $20, then was asked if I wanted gel because it would last longer and it was only $35. At first I said no because I normally don’t go to this salon, but ended up going with gel. The lady didn’t put any type of cuticle oil on my nails, literally dipped my hand in a bowl of water and started cutting back the skin that was bone dry so it just tore my fingers up even more. Once she started painting she had white nail polish all over my hands. Remind you I’m scheduled for my maternity pictures in the same day. Once she finished painting my nails she started to file them back down and ended up filing my thumb down to the skin. The over all service was horrible, some nails weren’t even painted all the way over. At check out she said I owed $40. I asked her why there was a $5 up charge as I was quoted $35. She told me it was an extra $5 for the polish? We went back and forth and I just ended up paying the $40. I noticed there was white polish all over my fingers and hands still so I asked her to remove it and she brought over a file and started filing my skin! I told her that hurt and if she could get finisher nail polish remover to get it off my fingers. When she sat me back down she tried cutting off the skin where the nail polish was with the tools they cut your cuticles with! I immediately snatch my hand from her and told her NO please do not do that as it’s on the bottom of my fingers and to use finger nail polish remover. She then grabbed my hand back and starts filing the skin once again and proceeds to file down my thumb that was already raw because of how short she filed it in the first place. Meanwhile the other employee was giggling the whole time instead of stepping in. At that point I was fed up so I got up and left and fixed them at home. I will NEVER step foot in that place again."
