"Arthur the GM needs to be FIRED!! I went there with my friend. We were having a good time and minding our own business and making friends. We are social and tip well. A dude threatened my friend. Why? Because he is a jerk. I respectfully asked for him to be kicked out. I confronted the guy, defending my friend. I got kicked out instead. I gracefully left. I will never return to the Mt. P location."

"Great spot and probably our favorite location of all the Home Team BBQs! This location has a very spacious new and clean outdoor space and bustling indoor space with TVs aplenty if you are looking to catch the game. Plenty of parking and the same menu as other locations with great beers on tap and cocktails or frozen drinks that can please any crowd. Be sure to check out their specials and give the wings a shot!"

"Top notch bbq. The space is friendly, light and airy. The outdoor area looks fantastic, but was way too hot to try when we were dining there. The food is all great. Brisket tacos are flavorful and it melts in your mouth, the reuben was delicious and the thick cut pastrami (I think it's only offered on Wednesdays?) is unlike any pastrami I've ever tasted, and brisket nachos were delicious. The baked beans side are smokey and delicious - definitely worth trying. A potato salad and coleslaw is great and helps to cut the richbessnof the meat. Even the burgers are amazing. If you are in Charelston, I highly reccomend you add this bbq joint (or one of their other locations) to your itinerary."

"After I don't know how many trips to and from MUSC over the last two years I finally took the opportunity to stop and grab food from Home Team BBQ . They recently opened a spot on 17 in Mt Pleasant, right on my way home... so I stopped. Cool little spot and the best wings I've had in a LONG time... tasty even after the 75minute drive home! I would assume the dry rub recipe is the same for all locations (the have several in the area) and is so good that I would buy just the rub to season and smoke wings at home! I grabbed a few of the daily specials... the fried Mac n Cheese, Dry rub wings and a BBQ Burrito and some 'Naner Pudding (not shown). Everything was really good! Definitely worth the visit! All in all, a visit worth repeating, or trying for the first time if you've never been."
