"Probably my favorite spot in Mount Pleasant for lunch and dinner. While I am determined to try every restaurant in the area, I still go back to Five Loaves whenever I know I just want something delicious. They also have great drink specials and their bar is a sleeper. The roast beef sandwich and tortellini salad are my favorites."

"My family loves this place! We always go here for lunch and love it every time. The atmosphere is so cute and the service is always great. Their menu is great but we always really enjoy their specials and the soups in particular are always super yummy. We typically get a few cocktails and they’re really refreshing and not overly sweet which we love. Really couldn’t recommend a better place for lunch in Mt. Pleasant!"

"I sat at the bar in this charming restaurant. The place was not crowded but still filled with the smell of good food and the laughter of giddy guests. I ordered the tomato and tarragon soup as well as the portobello goat cheese sandwich! YUMMMMMY is the only word that comes to mind. I also ordered two cocktails, which were delicious as well."

"We ate lunch at Five Loaves Cafe after Christmas Eve service earlier today. The atmosphere of this place is so fun, festive, and bright. Made me think of happy thought :) The food choices from the kids meal were good and the kids were happy. We ordered the kids meal tortellini cheese pasta with fruits, bacon and waffle, and cheese quesadilla that also came with fruits. For the adult meals, we ordered biscuit (the bottom of the biscuits were a bit burned which my husband not happy with it but he didn't even complaint and just ate the top part that didn't burnt ) sausage gravy with side of scrambled eggs. Mine was the tomato Taragon crab soup with half portion of cob salad that was so good! We also ordered the shrimp and grits and it was pretty yummy. It was a good lunch and the service was fast too."

"Our server was excellent! He was attentive and friendly. The food was good. The menu is very creative and fun! I always enjoy eating at Five Loaves. The Eggplant Parmesan was a special & the sauce was a bit plain. The dish was underwhelming but not bad. The highlight was the Chicken Paillard. I didn’t know what to expect & it was delicious! I haven’t had a dish like it. It reminded me of thanksgiving. We also got the rare roast beef sandwich and a mushroom sandwich that was a special. For appetizers we got the balsamic Brussels which were perfect & the cornbread. The cornbread was denser than I’m used to but still very good. It was gluten free so that’s probably why. Oh and the free bread is super yummy and a great way to start the meal! The only thing I wouldn’t order again was the eggplant Parmesan. Everything else was excellent. We went at 6:30pm on a Thursday with 4 people and there was no wait. I look forward to going back."
