Reviews
"First restaurant stop of the trip recommended by locals. Everything is fresh and beautiful! Great service catered to my allergies and were very helpful. Highly recommend if you have allergies and nervous about eating out. Great accommodations, pretty atmosphere, honestly wish this was back home"
"Beautiful atmosphere but I was highly disappointed in the food. The drinks were good, but lots of ice. Best dish was the 4 plantains. Conch fritters would have been tasty but the conch was very difficult to chew."
"This is a nice little restaurant on busy South Market in downtown Charleston. They get a lot of walk-in traffic but it’s best to make reservations. The menu is not large and is an interesting combination of Caribbean and Mexican. A small but adequate wine and beer list. The decor is bright and fresh and there is variety of seating including a lot of bar seating that looked inviting. Wait staff is young but competent and was very helpful in describing several of entree selections. Noise level was good, not great but good. We were a party of four and got to sample several appetizers and entrees. Food was fine although nothing exceptional. The Papas Bravos had an interesting take and was very good. Overall the restaurant is a good addition to the touristy market area. We give it three and one half clams on the coveted Five Quahog Rating Scale."
