"Mr. Peter came out today to mark where our water meter is. He was so nice and helpful. Super friendly. When I called this morning, I was told it might be 2-3 days before someone would be out and in less than a few hours there was Mr. Peter!"
"Backflow inspection directly with MPW created a massive leak immediately following inspection, broke the pvc pipe leading up to backflow meter, left it leaking without telling us, left us with repair and cost of water."
"Summary: Escalate your claim as quickly as possible. If the initial person isn't helpful (likely), ask for their supervisor (in my case that was Michelle McLemore), and when she doesn't return your calls ask to contact Nicole Bates. After wasting way too much time, this process eventually led to erroneous charges being removed from my bill. Best of luck!"
"I found the people on customer service to be helpful, but I find the billing practices to be obsurd and borderline theft. How can they charge you more for "waste water" then they do for regular water delivery. The waste water doubles the bill, when they don't even meter the waste water. Most of the water is used for watering the grass in the summer, which the charts show on their estimates, but still go ahead and charge you double. Makes absolutely no sense. They should be required to actually meter what is going out in waste water, instead of charging for something you didn't actually use. The option is go buy a $750 device or be paying double forever. ROI is probably worth it after 1-2 years."
"I am writing to express my extreme frustration with the company's billing and disconnection practices, which I find both unreasonable and absurd. Despite having a valid credit card on file with auto-pay set up, my service was disconnected for being 18 days overdue. I acknowledge that my card on file had expired. However, I updated it in your system with a new card just 6 days after. It seems an auto-draft attempt was made during the period when my card was expired. Still, it's mind-boggling that my account was considered 42 days overdue based on your method of counting from the day the bill is generated and sent out. This implies that even if I were to pay on the 2nd day after receiving the bill, I would already be considered 2 days past due. Does the company not understand the basic definition of a due date? It's exasperating to deal with such nonsensical policies. I urge potential customers in Mt Pleasant to be wary, especially when dealing with companies that hold a monopoly. I genuinely wish we had more choices in service providers here."
