"The food was good... My kids love it! Finished all the food we ordered! The lumpia is so crunchy! Halo halo is yummy! Thank you Lumpia House from jax,fl"
"We enjoyed the take out lumpia and pansit with our family. While all was tasty; it turned out that the pansit was the big biggest hit. Thank you Lumpia House. BTW: The accompanying picture is of soup I enjoyed while waiting for my take-out, and the soup was excellent."
"The food is DELICIOUS. Staff is always very friendly and I love the atmosphere of the store. Can't wait to get more lumpia from here :)"
"Tried this place for the first time today and it is not bad. I think I like their lumpia better than Lola's but not as much as Lam's Garden. They are flaky, crisp, and well-prepared, but not as flavorful as Lam's. The Chicken Adobo was very tender and yummy. The flavor was more subtle than I anticipated, but it was a nice mild dish. The pork sticks were a little tough and overcooked, but the char and the glaze was delicious. The shrimp were fresh and light, but again didn't have a lot of flavor. The Boba tea is just as you would expect, with nice springy Boba. The Turon dessert could benefit from a warm caramel sauce or something, I ended up drizzling a little Carolina Reaper Jalapeño Peach sauce on them, which helped to brighten them up."
"First time eating in this place. Only one word can really describe it: HORRIBLE. I want to start with how the food is so bland. I had the menudo, Kare kare, and dinuguan. The broth was so thin, and lacked some ingredients. The kare kare was EXACTLY like the menudo except for the meat. Literally cooked the same base, but changed the meat. And the dinuguan was greasy! I can see the oil separating from the food. I also tried their pancit and it was terrible. Bland, dry, and oily. I even took a picture of how small that portion is. For 7$, that's what you get. I also tried the fried rice and it is the WORST fried rice I've ever purchased. It's literally just white rice with soy sauce and oil drizzled on it. No vegetables or meat in it. I tried their lumpia. Even my husband was disappointed. His first bite and he says "it tastes off.. like plastic." Even my 2 year old wouldn't eat it.... I'm so disappointed. Second, I want to say how the food is really overpriced. Small portions for such an expensive AWFUL- tasting food! When you first come in the store, you don't even see any pictures of the food, nor is the food displayed on front of you, like how it normally is in other Filipino restaurants. It's like they're hiding something in how they prepare their food. So really, you don't know what to expect when you get the food. I'm born and raised from the Philippines and experienced MANY Filipino food here in the states. This is by far my worst experience when it came to Filipino food."
