"The trail is overgrown, bugs are unbearable and there's really nothing to see. There are much nicer trails and overlooks in the area."
"Trail looks like an unkept narrow gravel drive. Got almost to the end and there was a couple ambulance sirens along the near hwy. Heard what I thought was a dog mimicking the siren on the right side of the trail in the thick woods surrounding both sides of the trail. Then another howl from the left soon I realized in the very near thick woods I was surrounded by coyotes. Turned around and headed back , fast....."
"A modest trail that is not very wide. Sandwiched between a golf course and athletic field it's not very bucolic. Plenty of city sounds. The overlook at the end is pretty."
"We love this little hidden gem of a trail! Love the native plant educational plaques placed throughout the trail and the lookouts to rest, if you have little ones with you! Hog Island at low tide is lowcountry exploring at one of it's finest!"
