"Thank You, Thank You, to all the men of the silent service. I would put this memorial in my top 10 because it is a thoughtful work of art. What these sailors did to keep the peace will never be truly known. I thank them for keeping the other side in check. A must visit for any persons who have uttered the words thank you for your service to any military member. Clean and shaded, but no bathrooms."
"I guess since they lost the display sub this is what they do now here. From 100 foot away it looks like a sub surfacing through the grass. Get close and you see the concrete. I went to the point expecting to see a real submarine along with the carrier and destroyer. Had no idea the sub sunk and was towed away."

"Was looking forward to learning about the submarines but found little information. The park has more information about the war and the heros than on the submarines. There are many benches and stone tables dedicated to the heros that fought in the wars. There is a mound that looks like a submarine and 2 pieces of the tops of a real submarine. I would have loved to know what they came off and if the mounds were a life-size replica of submarine. The information stands are in need of updating, they are fading and peeling. I feel like this place just needs a little love and sprucing up. If you are in the area, come check it out."
"A really neat little park. Not exactly easy to get to or near anything. It's a walk across the parking lot from the Yorktown. The benches are dedicated to all of the different submarine crews."
