Campground at James Island County Park

"Christmass light exhibit was really neat. Adults & kids loved it. Best to circle twice as it's easy to miss some of what's going on. Particularly look for the lightening at the volcano and watch where Santa's golf ball goes."

"We didn't realize when booking but we were there for the festival of lights. It was wonderful! The location also has a shuttle which takes you to and from downtown charleston. Have already recommended to friends and would definitely return"

"We had such a great time at James Island County Park. We had a corner end spot, which was wide and grassy, which was great for our dog. The dog park was absolutely amazing. Love that there was open water spots for the dogs to jump in. Our Aussie had a phenomenal time. The bathrooms were clean. The hosts check in was so easy and seamless. Charleston was just a short driveway. Easy access in and out for dinner. Can’t wait to book there again."

"We stayed here just one night on our journey up the east coast (FL to ME) and this is a beautiful park - Huge! We wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy the amenities. It was perfect for a sleepover and to visit Charleston (we took an Uber - very easy). Showers were clean. Green space for the pup. Well kept grounds. Would definitely stay again."
