"AMVETS Post #70 goes the extra mile for veterans. They have all kinds of activities and fellowship. Im not a vet but come as a guest quite frequently. Im im treated as faimley. Its great to see this operation in action ."
"Great Place to relax and just unwind. Drinks are the cheapest in town and the camaraderie is great. Different nights have different things going on. Best night is Wednesday for burgers by the Sons of AMVETS! Excellent place to get info for VA claims. #amvets70"
"AMVETS is always hosting other veteran organizations and events and I’ve heard nothing but great things about their experience. They recently had a get together of 40 Women Marine Association members, most from out of town, who were attending the 4th Bn Deactivation Ceremony at PI and they had such an awesome time that several who don’t live in S.C. joined as life or annual members. They host the DAV every Thursday 8-11. The DAV Service Officers assist Vets and spouses with disability claims. They have great lunches, dinners, music, and even line dancing classes. Awesome place!!"
"Attended an event, event was coordinated and scheduled but AMVETS claimed the event was never scheduled despite calls made and text conversations. It’s crazy that the establishment claims to be there for veterans, but I guess they’re only there for veterans that pay a membership fee, and will charge other veteran organizations for using something as small as a kitchen for warming up food and yell at them for doing so."
"Poor communication and coordination when attempting to organize any event. Will try to blame others for shortfalls in their lack of planning and lack of coordination. They’re an American Veterans association but when attempting to help Veterans in need they cause issues again for their shortfalls."
