The Crazy Crab - Harbour Town 149 Lighthouse Road, Hilton Head Island, SC 29928

"After eating here, I wished we had picked another place. The pros were the service was fantastic. Our waitress was the sweetest woman. The atmosphere is also great. However, the reason, we came-the food, was not the greatest. It started out wonderful. The she-crab soup, fried pickles, and the fried shrimp appetizer were top tier. However, the seafood boil was bland and they did not have garlic butter! I also didn't smell any Old Bay which should have been the first red flag. No seafood boil can be considered such without Old Bay in my opinion. My son had a steak and it was overcooked and under seasoned. My other son had the crab legs and he said it was pretty good, but again, no garlic butter?! What! If given the choice, I would not eat here again based on the opinion of my taste buds."

"Went on Friday afternoon for lunch and we were seated right away. Our waitress and hostess were very nice. It is a great place if you have a larger sized group and/or small kids. The kids menu had a variety of offerings. But the food was just OK. My shrimp salad sandwich was covered in dill; shrimp and grits was yummy but was rich and could have been spicier; and the bloody Mary and was just OK."

"My server Kim, was the BEST from the time I walked into the restaurant until she bagged up my leftovers. If excellent customer service was a picture, it would be a picture of Kim. Shout out to Mr. Jeremy, Kim’s father and the love of her life. We shared stories, and she is a daddy’s girl just like me! Kim, you rock!❤️"

"We can't say enough good things about this place!! We are visiting Hilton Head on vacation and the Crazy Crab is a must-visit if you're a fan of delicious seafood. Kim was our server and perfectly captures the spirit of Southern hospitality. She's funny and was always eager to please. The price was also super affordable. I honestly would have expected to pay double for the same meal back home. We definitely got our bang for our buck. Our bellies are full and we are happy campers!"

"I loved the atmosphere!! Very rustic and coastal. Our server Kim was exceptional!! She was friendly, engaging, knowledgeable and SO much fun. She made our visit even more enjoyable. The food was amazing. Between us we had the She crab soup, wedge salad, hush puppies (of course!!), tripletail, shrimp and grits, broiled seafood platter and Captains platter. I can't even pick a fav because they were all so delicious. I highly recommend this place for great food, great service, great atmosphere. And another huge shout out to Kim who is a true asset to this establishment."
