"It was cold the day we went there but we did it on purpose no traffic I wanted to find the best beach access And we're good restaurants are located and learn the back roads around town. And we did and now found our new beach that we will love."
"On the shores of Tybee Beach in Georgia, where the golden sands embrace the gentle caress of the Atlantic, beauty unfolds like a timeless poem written by the waves. The sun, a painter in the sky, orchestrates a symphony of hues as it dips below the horizon, casting a warm, amber glow upon the tranquil waters. Seagulls dance in the breeze, their wings catching the sunlight, creating a ballet against the backdrop of endless blue. As the tides whisper tales of distant shores, the salty breeze carries the essence of the sea, weaving stories of resilience and serenity into the very fabric of the coastal air. Palmetto palms stand as sentinels, swaying gracefully to the rhythm of the ocean's lullaby. Footprints in the sand tell tales of fleeting moments, of laughter shared and dreams woven into the fabric of the beach. Tybee's lighthouse, a silent guardian, watches over the horizon, its historic presence a testament to the enduring spirit of this coastal haven."
"I like Tybee Island beaches. The pier is always a great place to spend some time. The beach here is pretty big. It has public restrooms. The shopping centers and restaurants are nice."
"As a Savannah native, I’ve been here a bunch of times growing up. I did 4h camp as a kid, been here for Fourth of July, and did the polar plunge! I never really appreciated Tybee, but after moving away I’ve gained new perspective. You’re not going to see any of the super blue water you would get in the Gulf of Mexico due to riverine influence from the Savannah River, but that’s ok! The beach is clean, and the vibes are good. South Beach is busier than North Beach and has the boardwalk, which is fun, and overall has more stuff to do than North Beach, which is great especially for tourists! I personally prefer North Beach because it’s usually quieter and has some cool rocks to climb on! The parking situation is also better at North Beach. In addition to the beach, nearby there’s the Tybee Island Lighthouse Museum, which is a good time. I definitely recommend going to see the lighthouse! There’s also tons of places to eat on the island, so you won’t run out of options! I definitely miss it now that I’ve moved away."
