Reviews
"My partner & I visited La Hacienda Mexican Restaurant last week as we drove down from Columbia to Charleston to catch a flight. We were craving some Mexican food, & based on previous reviews, we selected La Hacienda for dinner. This is a very nice restaurant, & the atmosphere was welcoming. We were seated promptly on a Saturday afternoon about 5pm, and ordered a steak & peppers dinner, and my partner ordered bbq shrimp Mexican style. Portions are nice, the food came out piping hot, & was tasty. The service was nice, & friendly, prices are reasonable, all in all I'd recommend giving La Hacienda a try. Next time we're down in the area, we will be visiting La Hacienda for sure!"
"I didn’t mean for my review to get this deep but here we go. My family of four went from restaurant to restaurant in Park Circle where we live to get dinner around 6 p.m. and every single place had a wait for 30-60 minutes. It was cold. We were hungry. And I was honestly just mad because we used to be able to pop in for a bite no problem and it’s just not like that anymore. So, we head over to the Tanger side of town and we see La Hacienda and we’re like why not. We’re starving at this point. And y’all, what a freaking relief. An oasis in a desert. A calm in the storm. A respite in the wilderness. It was busy but not crowded. It was clean and we were welcomed warmly. Our food came out in less than 10 minutes and our waitress was the sweetest one I’ve had since before the pandemic. The bar is low, y’all, in these post-pandemic streets. But La-Ha made me hope again. The chicken soup is delicious. The ground beef nachos are lit. And the cheese dip is THICC."
"DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME! I went in at 9:10pm. We were told that they closed in 15 minutes. We rushed to order. The drinks had no syrup. I asked for Dr Pepper and was given a Coke. We ordered a large queso. It is $12 and it wasn't even warm. I ordered fish tacos. I was given tortillas with a piece of fish and old brown purple cabbage. My sister and my husband got chicken chimichangas. Our bill was over $72.00! There are too many good options in this area to waste our hard earned money and to be treated so poorly."
"Service was great sat at the bar. Food didn't seem as good as it used to be. The hot salsa was very good however! Got a Taco Salad and Chile Poblano. Taco meat beef had a different taste not sure what. Poblano was pretty plain. Only 4 beers on tap. Ultra Blue Moon Bud Light and Dos Equis Amber."
"We love this restaurant. We always are greeted with a smile and are seated quickly. The food is consistently good and there are plenty of vegetarian options. The guacamole is delicious and freshly made, and last time we went we got the churro vanilla ice cream dessert."
