"Just finished a delightful lunch at Bear Café and Lounge on Main! Friendly, welcoming Southern hospitality with sweet iced tea! I had fried oysters which were plentiful, fat, juicy and fried to perfection. The onion rings were big, sweet onions, a delight in every bite! My husband enjoyed plump, tasty honey mustard wings and a burger stacked with pickles, onions, lettuce and cheese. This is not fast-food fare - the hand-made, smashed burger with crispy edges and juicy inside is the real deal! A return visit is on the "to-do" list!"

"I am a big fan of the "Bear Punch" chicken wings. These wings are deliciously hot and quite spicy (i.e., for an average "foodie"). Both the spiciness and the flavor are well balanced. [ Note, I am an adept, experienced "chili head." ] I like that the restaurant's owner comes out to meet and greet the patrons of his restaurant. This is a welcome, pleasant, personal approach. The restaurant is decorated nicely, and the atmosphere is pleasing."
