Holiday Inn Express & Suites Lavonia, an IHG Hotel

"My son stayed at the Lavonia Holiday Inn Express on the way to the Biltmore Estate in Asheville. The trip was a proposal trip for his (now) fiance. A couple of hours after checking out, the front desk called to let us know he had left his tickets to the Biltmore at the hotel. Getting a call like that after checkout was definitely above and beyond what most hotel concierge employees would do. We were beyond thankful and would definitely choose to stay again. And as a bonus, rooms were incredibly clean, and the breakfast was delicious."

"The rooms were clean and very nice. Breakfast was more than I expected for a hotel. Additionally, I left some items in the room, and called a few days later. They still had the items, and I stopped by on my way back through to pick them up. Bethany was very polite and retrieved them quickly for me. This was a very positive experience."

"The manager , Alyssa is RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL! Run to Hampton Inn across the street or to your nearest Air-BNB. I booked a room for my family's wedding back in August. Called to move the date up before the arrival and due to unforeseen circumstances, had to change the date by a day. Called and spoke to the front desk and associate (very sweet girls, but also seems to be really confused on what they are doing). The associate apparently booked another room instead of modifying the date. Because of this error on their behalf, they are charging me for a room twice and Alyssa is refusing to refund my payment. It has taken multiple phone calls to finally get a solution, but not from them. Alyssa attempted to speak with me via phone the way she speaks to her employees! Toccaa was a very beautiful location, but we will NOT go back to this location or ever refer anyone to this location! Again, RUN and don't look back. Several family members had issues at check-in where they attempted to charge for the room again, after the payment was automatically withdrawn from the account before arrival. RUN, RUN, RUN!!!!!"

"RUN from this hotel! We found BUG carcasses in our room and the hotel did nothing about it. They promised a full refund then refused to provide it when we followed up after not receiving anything. They shouldn’t be in business at all. You’re better off camping"
