"It's alright. Better than Subway and nothing to write home about. The mac and cheese was good, but don't pieces were crunchy. I don't know if they weren't cooked, or just dried out from being at the top and fried by the heat lamp. The bbq sandwich was alright too. Wish they had a variety of sauces. I like a sweet and tangy sauce with vinegar in it for some kick. The bread was meh. For under $10 though, it was well worth it."

"We stopped here on our way to a bowl game. Based on the reviews and our need to get out of a standstill on I-95, we chose Dukes. We ordered BBQ sandwiches with homemade chips. The majority of the chips were delicious, but there were multiple that were soggy. The tea and lemonade were great. The bbq was basically chunks of meat and the majority of mine was full of gristle. The slaw on the sandwich was good. As for the service…I understand that servers are overworked and there were multiple signs to that effect. After ordering our sandwiches, we sat down and waited for approximately ten minutes while multiple customers ( who came in after us) received their to go orders that were made while they waited. My husband finally got up and asked if we needed to make our own sandwiches. We thought perhaps that we misunderstood the protocol. About five minutes later, we received our sandwiches. It is easier to be patient when you see the servers busting their rears, but the solo server was chatting up other customers in an adjoining room and I am pretty sure she forgot our sandwiches until my husband reminded her. Long story short…we won’t be back and there must not be a lot of options for good food in Jasper."

"Charming local BBQ diner we stopped at on our way home to Florida. The buffet looked really delicious but we chose BBQ sandwich baskets since we still had over 3 hours left to drive. The owner was gracious and made sure our grandson had a nice lunch too. Glad we stopped here."
