"My daughter calls this the “secret swing” since you can’t see it from the road and we seldom see others when down here. She asks to come here frequently and loves to swing high and look out at the water."

"Just a swing and a marvelous view of the Beaufort River. Terrain makes it unfriendly to the mobility challenged, but you can still enjoy the park from the bluff. Great place to picnic on the ground."

"A little slice of heaven! Perfect little hidden gem for looking out over the water and swinging on the swing. Trees and moss are breath taking. Love everything about this spot. Can park along street across from the school."

"We took our pup for a walk here during our visit to Beaufort. It had been a stressful morning. My grumpy old man was extra grumpy due to lack of sleep and my 9 month old puppy was incredibly car sick. We decided to take her for a walk here to calm her nerves. As soon as she hopped out of the car, it was like all was forgotten. She and my grumpy old man happily strolled along the waterline, smiles on their faces. All worries seemed to melt away. There was one part I decided not to walk down (near the steps), only because I have bad RA and knew it would act up. But sitting there, watching them set against the blue water, watching the ships go by, was worth every single moment. Be sure to bring a camera. No filters needed here. Every photo is breathtaking."

"Peaceful, swings actively getting refinished as of this review. Paid parking but you can find places to park with half a mile to a mile and then walk all around down town, then take a foot break right here on these swings! Catching the bridge rotate was a bonus for me."
