Grace African Hair Braiding

"Extremely unprofessional!! Both braiders were on their phones the entire time. They stopped braiding to text, talk on the phone and scroll on tik tok throughout every braid making the process extremely long. The owner was one of the braiders and was in my phone. She took it upon herself to touch my phone to scroll back to a tik tok I passed. She was not focused on braiding at all. They were worried about clients calling and texting instead of the paying customer already in the chair paying $280! The braids were beautiful but definitely not worth the money for the service. I will not be returning!!!"

I went here once before last year for medium knotless and explained the 2nd time what I wanted corrected to improve the qaulity of the braids she (Grace the owner) did my hair both times her and Fatima (very patient humble talented woman) but GRACE SHES LOUD TALKING ON THE PHONE IN YOUR EAR LAZY AND WILL DO HALF SSA WORK ON YOUR HAIR 4 of my braids have came out along with my real hair she offered to fix it and said she would call me once she’s done with another client 1 week later still no phone call if you want to be overcharged for whatever and however she decides to do your hair this is the place to go I WILL NEVER RETURN I WORK TOO HARD FOR MY MONEY TO BE TREATED THIS WAY GRACE NEEDS TO RETIRE AND LET FATIMA REPLACE HER LAZY TAIL"

"If they have no experience with a style I wish they would say so. Had an appointment and waited over 2 hours after that time. They have a sign that says they will fix any issues within 7 days. Well I politely asked they fix an issue before leaving and they became almost hostile (mainly the owner I think because how dare I not like HER work), made rude comments and threatened to take the style down. I called their bluff and they fixed it. Left and will NEVER return. Also, this isn’t the most sanitary shop ever. Very scary to see some of the practices like failure to sanitize the combs and them taking them from head to head."

"Great experience! I called and got an appt within an hour. I asked for box braids and my hair was done within 5 hours! I love it and it's not too tight! They were friendly and very professional. I will definitely go back."
