"There wasn't many people dining in when I went, but many calls for take out. Just about everyone ordered the oxtails and I just had to follow suit. Had the Oxtails over rice with candied yams, Mac n cheese, and hoecake. It was all delicious! It was my first time in, but was welcomed as any other regular."

David up front treated me right and gave me a good recommendation on a smother pork chop with mac and cheese and collards. Tender pork, rich gravy, with creamy mac and tender collards. An absolute must visit for anyone who likes soul food in the area. I'd rate it higher if I could."

"THE FOOD HERE IS SO GOOD! I tried this place for the first time with my bf and we both inhaled our food! I got oxtails and a smothered pork chop with veggies and he got the fried fish and shrimp with fries.The meat was so tender!! The oxtail meat was falling off the bone and I was able to cut my pork chop with a butter knife! The fish and shrimp were seasoned and fried to perfection! Even the vegetables were seasoned well and weren’t mushy or too crunchy! The gentleman at the counter was also very down to earth and pleasant to talk to. I highly recommend this restaurant! I’m definitely looking forward to next time!"
