Lizard's Thicket Restaurant

"Our waitress was amazing but our food was not good. 1 item was hot, rest was not... and the cornbread dressing was dry and crumbly. We were hungry so we ate the other items but I took the "dressing" home and my cats didn't even was eat it. But, the tomatoes and okra were good. Bread and coffee were the best part of the meal."

"Old fashioned diner experience. The staff provided frequent and excellent service. The food was solid but not exciting. The very large menu had lots of options. Chicken fried steak was tasty but a bit over done. Lima beans were good. Fried okra was very good. The catfish was, well, my partner would've liked a do over. Overall, a good experience."

"During our trip to South Carolina we decided to try this restaurant out. Great selection of country foods at a very good price. I actually let the waitress pick her favorites for me and I was not disappointed. I had the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes with gravy, Mac n cheese and yams.. all was fast hot and delicious. Wife had the smoked with cabbage and Mac n cheese. Definitely worth the trip and recommend it to anyone who passes through."
