"I don't know about the huddle house side, I've never eaten there and I've never heard anything about it though. The gas station side though............ I don't know who runs this place but there are usually 3 or 4 workers there when I go in and none of them actually seem to want to be there or do any work. There is usually one person checking out and the others hiding somewhere doing??? The people there are nice but it seems like they don't have much motivation to help people."

"Was the only person in the store. Waited for 7 minutes. Then a load of people come in and she decides to come to a register. All I wanted was a shower. Needless to say she never helped me and I left without a shower. This is the kind of service you get in the south?"

"Cheap fuel at this Circle K and they carry Joker energy drinks as well as cook Hot Stuff pizza. Big, easy to line up and back in parking lot. 4* because the bathrooms use air dryers. That's fine until the guy ahead walks out without washing his hands and you have to go to a stall to get TP to grab the door handle with to get out without feeling creepy about it, but the stalls are occupied. Yuck! Never had good luck with Huddle House here either, but maybe it's better now. Or, not."

"After reading the favorable reviews, I decided on the Circle K, instead of the Hess on the other side of I- 20. Same price fuel. That won't happen again. I asked the clerk at the fuel desk about the shower procedure ( need a loyalty rewards card/ frequent fueler?) Just pump and shower he said. I pumped 151 gallons of diesel, and 10 minutes later, when I returned for my shower, a different clerk told me someone has the key, no showers available. After all apologies, I was told the credit was good for a week. I said I would come back tomorrow. Huddle House had to make my burger 3 times. First was frozen and raw in the center, second was with 2 slices of that I specifically didnt want. The cheeseburger was for a different to go order, (which he later returned because it did not have cheese.) Not a big deal.....next day, I deliver my load, return at 10am, no shower still, the staff moved the Transflo scanner, and now it doesn't work. In utter disgust, I went to Huddle House. Ordered scrambled eggs waffle and bacon cheddar hash browns as offered on the menu. Came as scrambled eggs with cheese, side of bacon, hash browns and toast. No waffles, waitress got the waffles, the side of bacon was cut into large pieces, repurposed in the hash browns, covered in oil, and a slice of cheese placed on top. Returned to me covered in grease, same (now cold) eggs and cheese soaking up the oil seeping from the hash browns. Paid, and left it untouched.......with tip....15.24. Went to Hess, they gave me a free shower. Got coffee and donuts for 3.35, and a very valuable experience in where not to go. Twice a week I'm delivering at Bridgestone 3 miles away. I'll pump my 300 gallons at Hess, and Transflo at Love's on the way out. In 16 years on the road, that was definitely a bad experience, and a one time thing. .."
