"This place has changed A LOT since the new owners took over . My mom and I placed a To Go order . The server that took the To Go order wasn't nice . I went inside to get the food I waited for like 2 minute till one of the servers looked up from her phone and saw me at the bar . She asked what I needed . I told her I'm here to pick up a To Go order . She said I didn't take it and she asked the other two that was standing on the other side of the bar . They said No . So it was back and front with the servers who took the order. Then someone in the back I said I took it . Make a long story short . When we got home half of our order was not in the bag . We called back down there the same person answered said OMG it's right here I forgot to place it in the bag . She laughed a little . My mom was not a happy camper at this point . The server said I will give you a piece of Cheesecake for the trouble . So we went back down to the restaurant . The server said here is the order and I looked in the bag it was still missing sauces . I told the server about the sauces she kinda rolled her eyes when she had to go back in the kitchen to the sauces . I worked at Augustinos before we send To Go orders out the door we double check the orders and we double the bags . The cheesecake that the server gave us was old . It wasn't fresh at all. I don't know if we will be returning."

"We really enjoyed our visit, the country fried steak sandwich was delicious and the homemade potato chips and french fries were great! Many TV's With all the football games playing. Nice comfortable atmosphere, friendly waitress . We will definitely be going back."

"I came here for a Meetup group event. They had a live band of two playing. I ordered the Cup of Each - $9.5 which included Chicken & Sausage Gumbo, Creole Jambalaya with Chicken, Sausage & Shrimp, and Red Beans & Rice with Smoked Sausage. All of them tasted ok. It is a hole in the wall kind of place. But it seemed to be quite popular. Probably it was the only bar in the area. The parking lot was just a dirt lot. The bar seemed to be a house converted to be a bar."
