"The sandwiches my husband and I had were AMAZING!! We loved our food so much, we got the Big Tony Italian sandwich and the Philly cheesesteak with fries. I can’t wait to come again. Seriously high quality and so scrumptious!"
"Fried green tomatoes are so yummy and so is the rest of the food. Most everything is made from scratch and they make wonderful dressings and dips. Portions are generous and even though it's a bit loud and crowded (because it is so popular) it is so very worth it!"
"Just had date night at Libby's. My go to is their Pimento Burger. Nice thick patty on a toasted roll with homemade pimento cheese and added bacon. Yum. Warning...order it medium rare and you might get well done. That's about the only thing that would make this burger taste better. My wife tried the Philly Cheesesteak for the first time and it was very good. Perfect combination of ingredients. Excellent service from Brooke. Take advantage of the covered patio when the weather permits. The Fat Tony is their Italian hoagie...great! Update...due to recent self-imposed carb restrictions, I ordered my Pimento Burger with no bread. It came out medium rare and it was outstanding!! My wife had the Chicken Caesar Wrap. Half at the table and half the next day for lunch. Update...still cutting carbs. Another fantastic bun-less Pimento Burger cooked to my liking. My wife had the Asian Steak Wrap, really good. MK provided good service on our indoor visit."
"Really tasty! Not too expensive. Busy place . We went during lunch. Ten minute wait . Really nice staff. Food came out hot and fast. I can't wait to go back. Husband got the Pimento Burger, it was huge and really good ! I had the a steak wrap. So much food !"
"Never been to Libby’s before. I was looking for somewhere to take my mom for her birthday and probably didn’t do enough research. It was far more casual than I envisioned. The waitress was wearing shorts and the atmosphere left a good bit to be desired. The service was excellent & I’d go back for that reason alone. First up was the fried green tomatoes and honestly they were the worst I’ve ever had; probably in my entire life. Zero salt or seasoning. I’m a fried green tomato expert & these fell seriously short. Super thin, more breading than tomato and dull. I had the Folly Beach shrimp and asked the server if they were truly SC shrimp and she said they were. They tasted fresh and were probably frozen but I can’t say I could tell if they were. They were lightly breaded, again no seasoning but perfectly cooked. Entrees are offered with only 4 choices of sides, hand cut fries , raw fries, pasta salad or slaw. I’m not a fan of Mayo based slaw ( theirs is) so I chose the pasta salad & hand cut fries. The fries were good but under salted for sure. The pasta salad was decent, not overdressed. My definition of raw fries must be different from theirs as a dining companion got these and they were crispy like a chip. That same companion got the BBQ shrimp and said the sausage was almost inedible as it was suffering from being severely over cooked. It couldn’t even be cut with a fork despite being paper thin. My spouse had the Libby burger and said it was good. Additionally the tomatoes were served with a dill ranch sauce made in house that was very good and the shrimp were served with a cocktail sauce that was horrible. It tasted just like ketchup with no hint of horseradish whatsoever. Huge miss on that. I left thinking Libby’s has much room for improvement but overall was just ok. Truly the service was the highlight."
