"I have came before and had good food from here but today it was horrible I order a side of plantains with brown stew chicken, and the plantains were burnt it looked like they were crushed"

"I just left there. And I have to admit I stopped coming because the service was so slow. The service was actually fast this evening. I order an oxtail dinner with white rice and plantains. I get home which is 25 minutes away, and I have macaroni and cheese. I’m lactose intolerant. I only went there because I was craving oxtails for like 2 weeks and Jamaica Hut was closed….i called and I was talked to rudely and was told once I left it was my problem not theirs . I’ll never go back regardless of how strong the cravings are. The food looks good. Too bad I can’t eat my $22 meal."

"This spot made me forget I was in Augusta. I’ve eaten authentic Caribbean food for a while and this is very much authentic. They even had a drink I haven’t been able to find. The atmosphere is beautiful, it looks nice, food is delicious , & I was met with kindness/smile! Some items are pricey but I believe it’s worth the hype! -recommended by Melo ^_^"

"After my recent experience today reviewing the reviews I said I’ll make a judgement on the food quantity and compare it to what is said and I’m dissatisfied and disappointed at the oxtail plates and the cuts and portions. I ordered the Rasta macaroni plain No chicken and I guess people can cook it many ways but this wasn’t bussin at all and I’m usually easily satisfied. Food took forever and noticed I was carrying a long conversation with a nice customer waiting for her order and she said she visits there many times and liked it but me nah I’m good . Thanks anyway for the hospitality ."
