"I’ve been to El Maguey a few times now - it’s definitely the best Mexican restaurant in the area. I’ll drive to Wrens for food over going to the many options in Grovetown. Service - most visits it’s average. But, I will say we did have a party of 13 once, we called ahead and they had everything setup before we got there. Waitress handled the table by herself and did a very good job. Food came out together and was hot. Food: overall average but they have a few good items that are amazingly authentic. Their chorizo is the best around, hands down. The fiesta dip is also very good and I’ve never had it elsewhere. I did have birria a few weeks ago and honestly it was kind of flavlorless which was deeply disappointing. They do have a selection of street tacos which are very good, but unfortunately you can’t mix and match so you’re stuck only getting to try one of the same taco (3 per order). Price: fair for the quality of food and compared well to other restaurants."

"Wrens ga. Stop in to EL MAGUEY MEXICAN FOOD. The food is done to perfection, service is ALWAYS! on point that is a major plus, Food DOES not taste like other mexican restaurants. The taste is good, food is a lot. And i can not complain about anything here. Stacy the waitress of 2 years is beautiful and sweat and real. I dont give a 100% reviews. But i cant help but this one time. I give them a %100. This restuarant knows how important the client is to them. Check my other reviews. You will see i am not shy or kind to those who dont care. Stop in for really good food and great service. The chefs here know mexican the chef knows quality and they will cater to you. Friendly and not fake. You will not run out of drink, Beer or tea or coke cola or napkins. Very on spot. Hard to find this quailty anymore. "The food was really what is expected of a good Mexican restaurant and the salsa has its own unique flavor with more of a tomato base and smooth. The fajita salad with chicken was so good! It came with refried beans at the bottom and grilled vegetables, sour creme and guacamole on top."
