Reviews
"Enjoyed our very short stay. Would be 5 star if bathrooms were updated and we enjoy a little more space between sites. We were also there in the off season and did not interact with the staff. Just a couple nights sleep and enjoying a youth hunt in the area."
"This state park has much potential despite not having many campsites. On a good note most sites are lake front with good views. Bathhouses are clean and modern. Staff is nice and helpful. Where the problem lies is areas of washout have taken over some of the campsites and created some uneven dirt and paved roadways. They are working on solutions it appears. A new to me camp store is now open with typical items you would expect. The pavilion decking has been updated and the new to me beach area is looking about ready for the summer."
"I posted this review under the state park section, but it also applies here. It's not the "resort" experience you are looking for, but it is the camping experience you need. The staff is very friendly and the camp host, Richard, is a great help and very outgoing! Depending on your choice of sites, you will get great views like we did. The main road is the only paved road if you are sensitive to driving your RV on gravel. If there was only one criticism, it would be for the dump station to be paved and leveled. There is 50 and 30 amp hook up and water. We thoroughly enjoyed the park."
"Big and rugged looking park. The main road is a bit rough. Not a lot of campsites and some being worked on. A great deal of good spots to access the water though. Hosts are friendly. Facilities are just enough."
"Camp site entry was dangerous do to lack of maintenance. Pictures of campsites on website are old maybe 10 years old or more. Bath house is stocked daily but was not cleaned even one time in the week we stayed. Bath house also needs repairs. Water pipes are exposed in entryways to many campsites. Tree maintenance needs to be done. Many large tree limbs fell."
